Red Moonrise | Sept 7, 2025

I caught the Moon just as it was rising above the horizon! I am very excited to show this, it has been on my bucket list for years to capture the red Moon rising, and now I finally got it! The Moon gets red/orange when its low above the horizon due to looking through many layers of the atmosphere, and dust and pollution dimming the light and color of the Moon. I captured a timelapse as well, I just hope the wind didn't mess up my frames. Sony a7iii at 300mm cropped
